Thou Son Of David Have Mercy On Me

God told them way down in Egypt, “I give you that land.” But He didn’t say, “I’ll go out there and sweep it all out, and garnish the houses, and hang up the curtains, and everything. You all just move in.” No, no. They had to fight for every inch of ground they took. That’s right, fighting, and take it by every… fight every inch. But He said, “Everywhere the soles of your foot lands, that’s possession.” Footsteps is possession.
That’s the same thing it is today. Divine healing belongs to us. The Holy Spirit belongs to us. It’s our property, but you’ll fight every inch of it. Yes, sir. But brother, footsteps is possession. Just keep fighting. Take it. The devil say, “The days of miracles passed.”
Say, “You’re lying. God said He’s the same yesterday, today, and forever.” Take it over. Everywhere your foot steps, that’s possession. That’s right.

The Entombment

And everything on earth, the beauty, the sweetness, the beauty of the earth, is nothing else in the world but an answer to a far better than that, that waits us when we leave this world. For, everything in earth is just a pattern of that which is in Heaven. Everything that’s good, everything that’s righteous, everything that’s beautiful, trees, birds, everything, is just a pattern of what is in Heaven.
Our own life is just a pattern. It’s just a shadow, and not the real thing. It’s the negative side. It takes death to develop the picture, to put us back in the theophany we come from. Then in the resurrection we come in His likeness, a resurrected body. What a beautiful; not only beautiful, but it is the real, solemn Truth of God’s Eternal Word, that we’ll be like Him.

Where I Think Pentecost Failed
Moses led two million people through the wilderness. And he led them for the space of forty years, and when he come out on the other side, there wasn't a feeble one among them.
Wouldn't you doctors here tonight, or some of you, like to know what Doctor Moses had, prescription? What did he give those people? How many babies was born each night? How many old people and so forth? How many lame and cripple? And how many colics, and everything else, did he get through the night? And Doctor Moses took care of every bit of it.
Would you like to look at his medicine bag and find out what kind of prescription he give? Would you like to know what it is? Let's see what it was. Here it is: "I'm the Lord that healeth all thy diseases." Amen. That's the only remedy he had, and it worked for two million people.

Faith Cometh By Hearing

Faith Cometh By Hearing

But if you just rely on hope, you hinder faith. Now, hope looks for something, way off. But faith claims it right now. See? Faith says, “God said so and it's mine.” That settles it. See? “I don't care if I'm still crippled, I'm still blind, if I'm still sick, that don't have nothing to do with it. I believe it anyhow. It's mine right now. God said so and that settles it.” See? That's faith.
But hope says, “God said so, and I'm expecting to get it, someday.” You see? “I'm expecting, someday.” And as long as Satan can put you off to another day, that's as good as he wants. That's right. You'll never get it. Just believe that you got it right now; it's your personal property. “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Is that right? Faith acts now. It's positive. There's no… Oh, my. I tell you, sickness and everything else, when faith steps in, it's just like a snowball on a hot stove. It just melts away. Everything goes away from faith. 'Cause faith stands up and takes over rule. When faith speaks, everybody else keeps still. That's right.

Why?

If there's sin in your life, get it out. If there's condemnation, get it out. If there's doubt, get it out. Until you can see perfectly that it's God's will, it's God's plan, and you're included in that, then say, “Sickness, in the Name of Jesus Christ, get away from me.” And remember, you might not feel any better for a week. But as soon as you said that word, something happened. God has to keep His Word. That sickness shakes, and he begins to turn loose. He will go if you'll just believe it. Don't doubt.
Like Peter walking on the water, He said, “Why did you doubt? Oh, ye of little faith.” Just because he was sinking, that had nothing to do with it. Christ had commanded him, and His Word was enough. That's the way we should think it too.

A Hidden Life

Have you ever come to the place in life where Christ meant more to you than all the arguing you could do about your church? Has Christ meant more to you than all the world? I don't mean from an emotion or a mental work-up; I mean from the depths of your heart, that something's settled in there, that something's taken place, that you don't know how it come, but you're hid away, and your whole motive is to serve Jesus Christ. Have you entered that place, my dear brother? Have you come into that place where you don't care what anyone says, not to go out and act smart, but till the love of God is so anchored into you, that you can't see nothing else, your whole motive is to do the will of God, love for everybody, flowing free from everywhere? What a place to live. That's the hidden place. That's the place where we got to come to, my brethren. That's the place where God reveals His secret things. That's the place where God does the placing and the calling.

TELL ME HIS NAME AGAIN
They tell me of love’s sweet old story.
They tell me of a wonderful name.
It thrills my soul with its glory.
It burns in my heart like a flame.
They say He’s the one that so loved me,
That in Heaven He could not remain;
He came down to seek and to save me.
Oh, tell me His name again.
CHORUS:
Oh, tell me His name again
And sing me the sweet refrain
Of Him who in love, came down from above
To die on the cross in shame.
This story my heart has been stirred,
The sweetest I’ve ever heard,
It banishes fear; it brings hope and cheer,
Oh tell me His name again
They say He was born in a manger,
That there was no room in the inn;
And in His own world was a stranger,
But loved us in spite of our sins;
They said that His path led to Calvary,
And one day He died there in shame.
He gave His great life a ransom.
Oh, tell me His name again.
They call Him the sweet Rose of Sharon.
They call Him the lily so fair.
They call Him the great rock of ages.
They call Him the bright morning star.
He’s a prophet, a priest, and redeemer,
The king of all kings He now reigns.
He’s coming in power and glory.
Oh, tell me His name again.
